BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BOOKING: A booking between the owners and person(s) making the
booking (the guests) becomes valid only after confirmation,
in writing, by the owners following receipt of a completed,
signed booking form and the appropriate deposit.
PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS : These may be made by telephone/fax/e-mail but completed, signed booking form together with appropriate Deposit/Full Payment
must be received within 48hrs. otherwise the reservation will be released.
DEPOSIT : 100.00 sterling / 140 USD per week booked is required to secure the accomodation.This is Non-Refundable in the event you decide to
cancel. Should date of travel be within 10 weeks full payment must
be sent with booking form.
BALANCE : The balance is due 10 weeks before date of travel.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:150.00 sterling /220 USD (cheque)will be requested along with your balance, to be refunded within 28 days of your return home. Any loss/damage sustained during your stay, that is deemed to be over
and above normal wear and tear, will be deducted from this deposit
and the balance returned to you.
CANCELLATION CHARGES :Any cancellation by the guest(s) should be notified in writing directly to the owners. Should you have to
cancel the following conditions will apply:
More than 10 weeks Deposit forfeited
Between 10weeks & 28 days 50% of total cost forfeited
Less than 28 days before departure 100% of total cost forfeited
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE BOOKING IF THE BALANCE IS
NOT PAID BY THE DUE DATE.
AMENDMENTS : Alterations to confirmed bookings may be made at the Owners discretion, at the clients request. An administration fee of 10.00 sterling/15 USD may be charged. Please confirm changes in writing. Please note an amendment is classed as minor change such as no of people travelling, or change of date (if possible) within a few days to accommodate flight availability. Any other change of date is classed as a cancellation and charges applied as below. New dates will be treated as a new booking.
ACCOMMODATION : In the unlikely event that circumstances, beyond the reasonable control of the owners, necessitate the cancellation of the booking, the owners reserve the right to cancel the booking at any
time and shall only be liable to refund the monies already paid by
the guest(s) or to make alternative arrangements by agreement with
the guest(s). No compensation will be paid in the event we have to change your accommodation or if you decide to cancel your booking because you are not satisfied with the alternative offered.
Only the person(s) named on the booking form are permitted to stay in the accommodation.
Any others will be asked to leave. No pets are allowed.
Please be considerate of neighbouring guests, particularly when using the pool area in the evening. Topless sunbathing is not permitted
at any time.
For the comfort and convenience of all guest(s) there is to be NO SMOKING in the house. You may, however, smoke around the pool deck
area.
The accommodation must not be used in such a way as to cause damage or disturbance to the property or neighbouring property or tenant(s). Should any person be found in breach of this the entire party will be requested to vacate the premises immediately. Alternative accommodation will not be offered nor will any monies paid be refunded.
Should you have ordered the use of the barbecue during your stay, please ensure (for security and safety) it is taken from and returned to the garage between use and is only used in the area outside the screened deck. There are two reasons
1) The screen is not designed to withstand the heat generated and may melt or burn
2) Any grease etc. which falls onto the pool/deck area will stain or damage it.
Should either of these occur it will very expensive to remedy and the cost will be deducted from the security deposit.
Your accommodation will be ready for your arrival from 4p.m. and must be vacated by 10a.m. on the date of your departure.
POOL HEAT : If required may be requested at the time of booking and paid for within final balance. It must be noted however that although the heater will raise the pool heat considerably, no set temperature can be guaranteed since it will be influenced by several factors, the main one being the prevailing weather conditions.
LIABILITY : The owners, management company or their agents do not accept any responsibility for death, personal injury, accident, loss
or damage to person(s) or personal possessions whilst staying in or about the rental property. Parents must supervise children at all
times when using the pool and deck area and the facilites of the development. Diving is not permitted at any time in the pool.
The owners, management company or their agents accept no responsibility for and shall not be liable for failure of equipment in the rental property (including pool heater), nor for the breakdown or withdrawal of facilities on the development. After notification of equipment
failure the management company will rectify the problem in a reasonable and timely manner.
Please bear in mind that the villa is situated on a development consisting of both residential and vacation homes, therefore the owners, management company or their agents cannot be held responsible for any ongoing construction, alterations to houses or any noise or nuisance as a result thereof on or around the development.
FORCE MAJEURE : The owners accept no responsiblity for and shall not
be liable in respect of loss or damage or changes to caused by FORCE MAJEURE events (e.g. war, riots, strikes, fire, flood,natural disasters, closure of airports, weather conditions) or any other
events beyond the owners control.
COMPLAINTS : In the unlikely event of a complaint during your stay, please contact the local management company immediately, in order that they may have chance to rectify the situation. No claim will be considered if this procedure is not followed.
INSURANCE : It is advisable that cancellation insurance is contained within your travel
insurance. Please note this booking covers self-catering accommodation only. Travel/Visa arrangements are the responsibility of the guest. No refunds will be made in the case of guest inability to arrive at accommodation due to travel, visa, weather, illness or any other cause which may otherwise prevent occupation of the accommodation for the contracted time period.
